Une extension avec piscine
The project plot is located on the heights of the commune of Chanaz (Savoie) and offers an exceptional view of the Rhône and the “Monts du lyonnais”. The existing house is the clients' summer residence. For several years they had been dreaming of a swimming pool and a pool house – that is the purpose of this project. The existing house is a summer residence. The project consists of the creation of a swimming pool and a poolhouse, to complete this vacation spot. The “L” shaped layout of the pool house has a triple objective: to protect the house from the north wind, to isolate the family garden from the parking area and to frame the views to the west towards the Rhône. The project consists of a summer kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom. The project is characterized by its single-paned roof as an extension of the roof of the house. Like a wing, it envelops the entire extension. The extension complements the existing construction to recreate a center of gravity on the plot scale. This living space between interior and exterior aims to become a friendly and family living space.
La parcelle du projet se situe sur les hauteurs de la commune de Chanaz (Savoie) et dispose d’une vue exceptionnelle sur le Rhône et les monts du lyonnais. La maison existante est une résidence d’été. Le projet consiste en la création d’une piscine et d’un poolhouse, pour venir compléter ce lieu de villégiature. L’implantation en « L » du poolhouse a un triple objectif : protéger la maison du vent du nord, isoler le jardin familial de la zone de stationnement et cadrer les vues vers l’ouest en direction du Rhône. Le projet se compose d’une cuisine d’été, de deux chambres et d’une salle d’eau. Le projet est caractérisé par sa toiture à un pan inscrite dans le prolongement du toit de la maison. A la manière d’un éventail elle enveloppe l’ensemble de l’extension. L’extension vient compléter la construction existante pour recréer un centre de gravité à l’échelle de la parcelle. Cet espace de vie entre intérieur et extérieur vise à devenir un lieu de vie amical et familial.
